“Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it” (Proverbs 4:23). We are striving to live with hope in His word, faith in prayer, and for God’s love to be brought to full expression in each of us!

I’m just a sinner in desperate need of a savior. Lord, God please move me every moment of every day to surrender more to you, to surrender all to you because the Christian life isn’t about trying harder it’s about surrender yourself more to the will of God. Less of me, more of You. This is my desperate cry and plea for help!

I am a twenty-something year old woman striving to be a woman after God’s own heart. Usually I fail miserably every day but I try to faithfully following him in the midst of all my life’s storms and there have been several! I heard that pain is God’s megaphone to wake us up and alert us that we desperately need Him and to seek Him in everything. I believe this and believe in God’s sovereignty in each of our lives. This blog is a personal reflection and documentation of what I’ve been through, what I’m currently facing, and where I’m going. I read a lot of books and do Bible studies so there will also be my personal thoughts on what I read. Nothing in this blog is meant for anything other than hashing out my thoughts and using it as a therapy for myself, and ultimately bringing glory to God through everything in my life whether it be trial or joy!

I am married to a wonderful man of God and it is amazing to pray with him and see his heart grow more for God over time. We have been together since February 2005, married since October 2008, and have 3 puppies, Sam, Halo, and Jasper. He is from the midwest and I am a Georgia native. He loves to play hockey, is an incredible cook, and loves cheesecake with a passion! We are both youth leaders at our church and have a heart for children. In saying this, we are currently struggling with infertility and this is something I will be posting frequently about as it has changed and is changing our lives. We both come from broken families and are striving to create our family in a Christ-centered way. Again, we fail often because we are in no way perfect, but we love one another and we love Jesus Christ.

Thank you for stopping by my blog. I hope that it blesses you in some way!
